These two updates have landed in the software repositories before any other major updates because they require manual intervention from the user. First off, it looks like Chakra GNU/Linux users will have to add their Chakra user to a new lpadmin group to make CUPS work properly after installation, with the “sudo gpasswd -a USERNAME lpadmin” command, where USERNAME is your Chakra username. On the other hand, if you install the Pepper Flash Player plugin to enjoy Adobe Flash content on Chromium or similar web browsers, including Vivaldi and Opera, you’ll have to force the installation or update by running the “sudo pacman -Sy pepperflashplugin –force” command. This is required because Chakra GNU/Linux devs have changed the upstream source from Google Chrome to Adobe.
