Clonezilla Live 2.5.0-5 is now the most advanced version of the open-source and free disk cloning solution based on the Clonezilla partition or disk clone tool. It’s the first release to use a kernel from the Linux 4.8 series, namely 4.8.7, and includes all the latest package versions from the Debian Sid repository as of November 22, 2016. A handful of new packages made their way into the Clonezilla Live 2.5.0-5 stable release, among which we can mention the iftop real-time network bandwidth monitoring tool, sysstat performance monitoring tools collection, as well as p7zip-full, a command-line port of the 7zip archiving utility.
