CloudLinux is a commercial operating system based on the freely distributed sources of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). It uses a modified Linux kernel based on the OpenVZ kernel and it’s compatible with the CentOS and RHEL packages. The company is now informing its enterprise customers running CloudLinux 5 on their infrastructures that they will no longer offer production support for the Linux kernel, nor other included packages starting March 31, 2017.
