“Percent Of Resellers Citing Each Answer”

“Resellers are even more positive about Linux’s viability in the
small- and midsize-company market than in the enterprise market,
according to a CRN spot survey of 200 resellers in December. More
than four out of five resellers surveyed think Linux will be a
viable alternative to Windows or other variants of Unix in this
segment of the market. Most resellers think Linux will not pose a
significant challenge to Windows until the second half of
1999.”
