CrossOver is a powerful graphical user interface for the popular, open-source Wine program that implements a Windows layer allowing Linux and Mac users to run applications and games designed only for the Microsoft Windows operating systems. It makes installing various popular apps a breeze. CrossOver 16.1.0 has been released earlier and it’s now considered the most advanced version of the app. While the changelog is kept small with a bunch of improvements for the Microsoft Office 2013 and 2010 office suites, this is an important milestone that introduces support for the Quicken 2017 budgeting software.
