CUPS 2.1 RC1 received support for basic 3D printers based on the PWG White Paper policy and template, fixes support for domain sockets on Linux systems, addresses some bugs in the handling for journald, and repairs signal handlers in USB and DNSSD backends. Better support for the systemd init system and service manager has been added in the configure script.
