The most prominent features of the darktable 2.0.6 update are the support for non-mosaiced RAW image files that contain four RGBA channels (Alpha ones are automatically discarded), and use of the libexiv2 library for writing metadata for the JPEG format writer component. Now for the better news for fans of open source RAW image processing, darktable 2.0.6 introduces support for a lot of digital cameras, among which we can mention Canon EOS-1D X Mark II, Canon EOS 1300D, Canon EOS Kiss X80, Canon EOS Rebel T6, Canon EOS M10, Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II, and Canon PowerShot G9 X.
