The distro is designed to be as lightweight as possible and ships with the Xfce 4.12.1 desktop environment by default. It includes up-to-date package versions from the upstream Debian Testing repositories as of October 25, 2016. Nvidia’s proprietary graphics driver 370.28 is present, along with the PulseAudio sound system. However, the biggest new feature of DebEX Barebone Build 161025 is the integration of the Refracta tools, which you can use to create your own installable Debian GNU/Linux 9 “Stretch” Live DVD, but only if you install the DebEX distribution on your personal computer. You’ll be able to customize the new live system as you see fit.
