It appears that Debian 7.0 will add the EXT4 filesystem by default for new installations, replacing the old EXT3 one from previous versions. Systemd will be available as an option, as SysVinit will be the default for Debian 7.0. Among the included desktop environments, we can mention GNOME 3.4, KDE 4.8 and Xfce 4.8. Last but not least, the Debian Installer will now support UEFI installations on 64-bit architectures, as well as support for WPA and WPA2 wireless networks.
