Debian 8 and Mageia 5 RC Released Over the Weekend

The long-awaited Debian GNU/Linux 8.0 “Jessie” was released April 26 in new live and traditional installation media. Debian 8 brings systemd, improved UEFI support, and updated support services. Elsewhere, Mageia 5 Release Candidate was released with UEFI support, enhanced Welcome, and other installation improvements.
