Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15 “Nev” was announced last month, and, since then, the development team behind this ready-to-use and easy-to-install GNU/Linux distribution have worked hard to bring you all the latest applications and components from the recently released GNOME 3.22 Stack. The distro remains based on the stable Debian GNU/Linux 8 “Jessie” repositories, yet ships with the brand-new GNOME 3.22 desktop environment and the GNOME Shell 3.22.1 user interface. The kernel packages used in Parsix GNU/Linux 8.15 are based on the long-term supported Linux 4.4 branch, patched with TuxOnIce and BFS.
