Coming about three months after the first point release, Univention Corporate Server 4.2-2 is here to bring all the latest security updates from the upstream Debian GNU/Linux 8 “Jessie” repositories, especially for core components like the Linux kernel, Samba, OpenLDAP, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Additionally, Univention Corporate Server 4.2-2 makes the portal to be more usable in cloud setups, improves the usability of the management system, addresses numerous bug fixes and issues, and adds support for app providers to create their own App Appliances through the App Provider Portal.
