DesktopLinux: Puppy Linux v1.0.9 Emerges

effort on the upcoming version 2.0, the distribution’s community
released an updated version of the Linux-based Puppy 1.x series,
v1.0.9, on May 22. It sports a 2.4.27 Linux kernel and a JWM
desktop environment.
