“CRN has just reviewed three free desktop Linux distributions:
the latest Ubuntu, openSUSE, and Freespire versions. It’s a fine
review for end-users. It covers the basics of installation, setup,
support, feature set, and usability. Where it misses the boat,
though, is its target audience–resellers.

“While VARs (value-added resellers) want to know all that
information as well, their bottom line is, well, their bottom line.
They also want to know things like: Is their any channel support?
How easy is to customize? How easy is it to centrally administer
multiple desktops…?”
