digiKam Software Collection 4.10.0 arrived on May 12 and included numerous bug fixes reported by users since the previous version of the program, digiKam 4.9.0, which was announced back in April 2015. Softpedia was the first to report last month that the next major release of digiKam, version 5.0, will arrive in July 2015 and will the first to be ported to the next-generation KDE Frameworks 5 libraries for the KDE Plasma 5 desktop environment.
