Chances are that you have installed Linux on your laptop and there were quite a few things to fix before you had a fully functional system. Some may even give up on Linux due to the number of problems they encountered. Distroshare.com is trying to change that by sharing distributions tailored to specific devices with all the kinks worked out. We started with the Acer C720 chromebook: https://www.distroshare.com/search/?q=acer+c720 and now we’ve added the Acer C740 chromebook:https://www.distroshare.com/search/?q=acer+c740.
We want to add more distros for more devices and we need your help to do so. Our kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/693527316/distroshare is for hiring help and for purchasing more devices to make distros for.
We appreciate any support you can give us. Thanks!
