The second point release, Docker 1.12.2, is now officially in development, and a first Release Candidate version has been released into the wild for public testers and early adopters. It includes support for Apple’s new macOS 10.12 Sierra operating system, and improvements and bug fixes to the Swarm Mode, networking, and runtime. The biggest changes implemented in this first Release Candidate build of Docker 1.12.2 are the latest libnetwork library, the implementation of a retry logic to prevent “Unable to remove filesystem” errors with the AUFS driver, a fix that patches devicemapper to no longer remove device symlinks, and up-to-date SwarmKit and Debian sysv-init script.
