elementary Devs Move the OS’ Icons from Canonical’s Launchpad to GitHub

Until today, the elementary icons were hosted on Launchpad, the project hosting website designed by Canonical for its Ubuntu operating system, where many of the elementary OS’ core components reside, but in order to encourage collaboration and reuse, the elementary developers decided to move the icons to the popular GitHub project hosting site.
