Emmabunt??s Debian Edition Linux Is Now Based on Debian GNU/Linux 9.4 “Stretch”

Emmabunt??s Debian Edition 2 1.02 is the second maintenance update to the Debian-based operating system used in schools and other educational institutions across the globe. It’s based on the latest Debian GNU/Linux 9.4 “Stretch” operating system and brings various updated components, as well as improvements like the ability to turn off the script that handles the screensaver images and support for automatically detecting and configuring printers. Besides shipping with all the bug fixes and security updates from the Debian GNU/Linux 9.4 “Stretch” operating system, the Emmabunt??s Debian Edition 2 1.02 release updates various components to their latest versions, and adds a couple of new apps, including the Shutter screenshot utility and Darktable RAW image editor, the latter being available only on the 64-bit ISO. Updated apps include HPLip 3.18.4, TurboPrint 2.45, MultiSystem 1.0423, VirtualBox 5.2.10, and Skype 8.20.
