Escuelas Linux 5.2 is more of a maintenance update to stabilize the operating system and make various improvements to the 5.x series. It includes some of the latest GNU/Linux technologies and applications, including the recently released LibreOffice 5.3.1 office suite, as well as Google Chrome 57 and Chromium 56 web browsers. Users should be aware of the fact that the Google Chrome 57 web browser is available only as a 64-bit application, while Chromium 56 is a 32-bit one. Escuelas Linux 5.2 also includes the Chromium-based Vivaldi 1.7 web browser, along with OnlyOffice Desktop Editors 4.2.5 (64-bit) and GeoGebra 5.0.341.
