Continuing the Edubuntu legacy of delivering Linux-based operating systems and Open Source software projects to schools and other educational institutions around the world, Escuelas Linux 6 has been released earlier this month with major improvements and new features.

The biggest highlights of this release being the availability of dedicated English language ISO images for non-Spanish users. Highlights of the Escuelas Linux 6 release include new installation wizard, support for running the operating system in live mode directly from a USB flash drive if you just want to give it a try without installing it, as well as a brand-new, streamlined wizard for highlighting the advantages and beauty of using the Enlightenment-based Moksha desktop.
