This is the third maintenance release of the stable 3.8 branch of the Evolution contact manager, address manager and calendar for the GNOME desktop environment. Evolution 3.8.3 brings several fixes, including the ability to delete calendar events from view, searching in Calendar view, emptying group address while the recipient prevents message send, and more. Moreover, the e_mail_reader_edit_messages() and e_mail_reader_forward_messages() functions have been added in Evolution 3.8.3, and the “ask-reply-close-browser” prompt has been moved to EMailBrowser.
