Being based on Canonical’s Ubuntu 15.04 (Vivid Vervet) operating system, Exton|OS Light Build 150727 replaces version 150202 and it’s powered by Arne Exton’s Linux custom kernel 4.0.0-4-exton package, which is based on the upstream Linux 4.0.7 kernel. The Light edition of Exton|OS comes with the lightweight and very fast Openbox window manager. However, the distribution borrows elements from other lightweight desktop environments, such as LXDE’s LXTerminal terminal emulator.
