Based on Canonical’s recently released Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS (Xenial Xerus) distribution, Exton|OS Light Build 160728 also borrows various GNU/Linux technologies from the Debian GNU/Linux 9 “Stretch” (Testing) and Debian GNU/Linux Sid (Unstable) software repositories, and uses a kernel from the Linux 4.6 series. New features of the Exton|OS Light Build 160728 release include the latest version of the Openbox window manager, Google Chrome web browser for watching Netflix movies, NetworkManager connection manager, PCManFM file manager, GParted partition editor, and LXTerminal terminal emulator from the LXDE desktop environment.
