Built around the lightweight Openbox window manager, Exton|OS Light Build 161021 is now borrowing many of the internals of the Ubuntu 16.10 release, shipping with a special 4.8.0-25-exton kernel package based on the upstream Linux 4.8.1 kernel and injected with extra patches to add support for new and modern hardware components. To keep things as light as possible, Exton|OS Light Build 161021 only includes a minimal set of packages, but you’ll find the Google Chrome web browser if you want to watch Netflix movies, SMTube YouTube browser and player, SMPlayer video player, PCManFM file manager, LXTerminal terminal emulator, and GParted partition editor.
