First of all, the MATE/Compiz edition of Fedora 22 Alpha is also powered by the Linux kernel 4.0 Release Candidate 1 (RC1), just like all the other Fedora 22 Alpha spins. The version of the MATE desktop environment is now 1.9.4. Among the included software packages, we can mention Mozilla Firefox 35.0.1, Claws Mail 3.11.1, LibreOffice 4.4.0, Transmission 2.84, Audacious 3.5.2, and FileZilla 3.10.0.2.
