Firefox 61 for Android isn’t a major release, but a small maintenance update that brings a couple of performance improvements like faster scrolling by implementing a new functionality that treats touch event listeners as passive by default, and better page rendering times by improving the Quantum CSS component. On top of those performance improvements, Firefox 61 for Android also improves security by enabling the latest draft of the Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 specification by default, thus making your web browsing experience on Android devices much safer. About 18 other security vulnerabilities were addressed as well.
