For Android users, Firefox 62 brings Quantum CSS improvements for faster loading of web pages over Wi-Fi connections when the disk cache is slow, by loading the pages from the network cache (if available), and improves the scrolling performance by treating touch event listeners as passive by default. Moreover, Firefox 62 for Android adds a new “Product and feature tips” toggle in the Notifications settings that offers users more control over which notifications are displayed and which aren’t, and re-enables WebRTC video sessions between the Firefox for Android and Safari web browsers.
