Firefox for Android Beta Adds FLAC Playback, Converts Websites to Native Apps

FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) is the audio format of choice for audiophiles, and it looks like more and more apps and operating system are supporting it these days (finally). The latest app to support FLAC audio playback is Mozilla’s Firefox for Android web browser. FLAC playback is now available to Firefox for Android Beta users, and it allows them to play audio files encoded in the FLAC lossless audio format from various websites. It’s an excellent addition to the supported audio formats, and we believe it will attract more users to use Firefox instead of other web browsers.
