First Alpha of Scientific Linux 7 Is Available for Download

Scientific Linux 7 Alpha has been released only for the 64-bit (x86_64) hardware platform and includes all the features and fixes that were implemented in the upstream RHEL 7 release, except for certain packages, as mentioned in the release notes. This first development version of the upcoming Scientific Linux 7 operating system also includes new artwork from Suzanne Thompson. When testing it, please keep in mind that it doesn’t include many historic Scientific Linux add-ons.
