FreeBSD 11.1 was in development for only a month, during which it received three Beta and three RC builds that users could download and test out on their personal computers to report bugs or any other issues. And now that the third RC is out, it looks like it might also be the last one for this cycle. Quite a bunch of changes have been added in FreeBSD 11.1 RC3 compared to the second and even the first RC, and among some that caught our eye we can mention support for the Capsicum sandbox framework in bhyve(4), better support for Intel SDHCI/eMMC controllers, and a working Heimdal KDC-REP service encrypted ticket.
