Approximately one year has passed since the release of the Alpha version of FreeNAS 10, but the development team was pretty busy during all this time fixing as many reported issues as possible. Therefore, they are happy to announce that FreeNAS 10 Beta is here to address a total of 830 reported bugs. However, that’s not all they’ve been doing, as this Beta release adds many new technologies to the upcoming FreeNAS 10 network-attached storage solution based on the newest FreeBSD 10.3 distribution, such as better support for the ZFS file system, Docker container support, which still needs a lot of work to become production-ready.
