Just four hours after pulling the plug
because of criticism of his new site design, Scoop has relaunched freshmeat.net.
In a post mounted at 00:02 EST today, Scoop says:
“Because of 1200+ people sending encouraging comments, various
apologizes from original flamers and because of me being a
freshmeat addict myself, freshmeat got relaunched. I still think
this step was a necessary one just to remind people not to take
freshmeat as given, no matter what happens.”
