We do a lot of reporting at The Powerbase on notable Kickstarter projects. It is always gratifying for us to help spread the word when something great is brewing. Whether or not we help it ferment is debatable, but when a Kickstarter project delivers on its promise, it is doubly gratifying to share with you.

FTL (Faster Than Light) is now available for Linux. The much lauded spaceship simulator makes its debut after having been funded 20 times over by excited gamers of all platforms. In addition to being so successful on Kickstarter, FTL is also the recipient of several high-profile, independent games awards, in areas like ???Excellence in design???.

In addition to all of this, the game is super-polished and fun to look at. I am personally not a spaceship sim guy, but I can definitely see what the appeal is of this one.
