Fuduntu – And now for something the same but different

So what is Fuduntu Linux? Fedora? Ubuntu? Something entirely different? Fuduntu is actually very nice. I had forgotten just how good Gnome 2 is and it makes my laptop run like a dream compared with Unity and Gnome 3. The menu structure is so easy to follow and the dock at the bottom makes it easy to launch applications.
