Fully decentralized P2P microblogging promises security and censor-resistance

A new project was just released this week: “twister is the fully decentralized P2P microblogging platform leveraging from the free software implementations of Bitcoin and BitTorrent protocols”. Promising end-to-end encryption for private messages and unblockable accounts, the source code for the alpha version (Linux only) was released together with a technical white paper (http://arxiv.org/abs/1312.7152).
