To better understand the GeckoLinux editions, I???d like to inform the reader that there are three main editions of this distribution. GeckoLinux Stable, based on the latest openSUSE Leap release, GeckoLinux Rolling, based on openSUSE Tumbleweed, and GeckoLinux NEXT, based on the latest openSUSE Leap release but featuring newer, bleeding-edge components. While the Stable and Rolling editions of GeckoLinux come with KDE Plasma, GNOME, Xfce, Cinnamon, MATE, LXQt and IceWM flavors, the GeckoLinux NEXT edition only feature the KDE Plasma desktop environment.
