German IT Company to Harness Ubuntu and IBM POWER8 for Its New Public Cloud Service

Now that Ubuntu has become the first Linux kernel-based operating system to bring “Little Endian” support on IBM’s POWER8 systems, teuto.net has decided to integrate IBM’s new Power systems into its new public cloud service called teutoStack Public Cloud. The company brags about the fact that the entire POWER8 integration, including rack installation, was done in less than a half business day thanks to Ubuntu for POWER8.
