Git 2.4.1 Out Now with Dozens of Improvements and Bug Fixes

Git 2.4.1 is here to address an issue in the “git diff –no-index” command, which refused to work when attempting to display a patchset to remove the file that could get turned into a directory. The command has also been patched to imitate the POSIX diff command when comparing a file and directory. Git 2.4.1 fixes a problem with the .gitconfig file that is created by default in the Home directory of a Linux operating system when running the “git config –global” command, as it incorrectly spelled the email and name entries in it.
