Git 2.6.1 Open-Source Distributed Version Control System Adds Xdiff Changes

Git 2.6.1 is a small release that brings in only two changes. The first is related to the Xdiff code, which is used by the software to generate diffs. The Git developers modified this code to handle files of approximately 1GB in size, for now.
