The good news is that Glib 2.37.0 can now be built with the bionic C library, and can be serialized to a GVariant. Moreover, the syntax for detailed action names has been documented, and a parser API has been created for them. A new function has been implemented in GApplication, busy state, which is intended for clients that want to signal their busy state to a desktop shell, especially when a long-running operation is pending. Lots of bugs have been fixed in this development release of Glib, especially the full port of Glib 2.28.1 onto Android-ARM. For more details you can check out the NEWS file inside the archive.
