Yes, time flies when you’re having fun developing software projects, and today’s GNOME 3.22 Release Candidate milestone marks the end of the development cycle of the popular desktop environment for Linux-based operating systems, which took approximately six months, since the March 2016 launch of GNOME 3.20. In less than one week from today, the GNOME Project will officially announce the general availability of the GNOME 3.22 “Karlsruhe” desktop environment for Linux systems, which will be a great opportunity for the community to see what new features and improvements it introduces.
