GNOME Boxes 3.16.2 has been released, and according to the raw changelog it brings some new features, such as a symbolic app icon, case-insensitive check for file extensions, and makes sure that the “Saving…” disappears when errors occur. GNOME Boxes is the default VM manager for the acclaimed GNOME desktop environment, allowing users to install and run operating systems in virtual machines. It is a front-end for the well-known and influential QEMU command-line virtualization software.
