GNOME Chess 3.8.3 adds the ability to save time remaining when saving a timed game, the chess clock has been modified to start after White’s first move, and to stop at the end of the game. Two segmentation faults have been fixed in this release. The first one is related to using the Undo Move while viewing a previous turn, and the second one occurred when the original game’s timer expired right after playing a timed game and immediately after starting a new game. Massive CPU usage issues, that occurred after playing a game against an engine and immediately after starting a new game, have been fixed, as well as the very small save/load dialogs.
