Prominent new features of GNOME Commander 1.6.0 include the availability of a configurable command that lets users send files to a certain app, support for displaying notification icons in the “Open With” popup menu, as well as the ability to add more than one file simultaneously when using the “Edit files” button. Moreover, the device list entries and buttons have been updated to act as “home buttons” for the respective device, it’s possible to copy the path of a directory to clipboard immediately after right-clicking on dir-indicator, as well as to use a keyboard shortcut for displaying or hiding the main menu.
