GNOME Maps 3.10 Beta 2 provides an AppData file for the GNOME Software Center and improves the search results pop-up by adding a scroll window, by displaying place icons, by displaying a search spinner, and by displaying matched part of results in bold fonts. Moreover, this release adds a context menu with two options: “What’s here?” and “I’m here.” While the first one will allow users to find the name of the place at pointer position, the second one marks the spot where the user is currently located.
