Gedit 3.11.2 is the second development release towards Gedit 3.12, which will be part of the upcoming GNOME 3.12 desktop environment, and it introduces a revamped user interface, which radically changes the way users interacts with the application. Moreover, Gedit 3.11.2 removes a deprecated API, improves the documentation, integrates the change case plugin directly inside GtkSourceView, and fixes other miscellaneous bugs that were discovered in the previous release.
