Google Releases Chrome 44 Stable for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Chrome OS

Google Chrome 44, which has the same build number as the last Beta build, version 44.0.2403.89, is here to introduce a number of under-the-hood improvements and bugfixes. Additionally, Chrome 44 contains multiple new apps/extension APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), and patches no more than 43 critical security vulnerabilities discovered by various developers and awarded by Google.
