Designed only for app developers, the first Android P Developer Preview was released by Google for its Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. The initial Developer Preview is considered by Google as of Alpha quality, and it’s not recommended to be used as your daily driver. So if you’re an Android app developer and you want an early taste of the next major Android release, you can go ahead and download the first Android P Developer Preview on your Pixel device following the flashing instructions provided by Google.
