HandyLinux 2.5 arrived on June 11, 2016, exactly two months after the release of the previous maintenance version, HandyLinux 2.4, based on the recently announced Debian GNU/Linux 8.5 “Jessie” operating system. Every HandyLinux 2.x update is being rebased on the new point release of Debian GNU/Linux 8, the Jessie series, offering users new installation mediums that include the latest security patches and software updates released upstream.
